Café Colette in Aachen

The food and service is always great. We like to go here. 👍🏻

A bit expensive but worth every penny. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, no recommendation. Except for the non-crunchy bottom, the quiches are okay by hand, but clearly overpriced (over 6 € for less than a quarter, so just a snack). When asked at the counter when ordering whether there was really only this small piece for it, it was said "if you eat here there will be a small salad". For the plate decoration, a handful of salad mix with 2 halved cocktail tomatoes, € 3 was added to the already steep price without comment. You don't even pay € 9.20 for a fifth of the morning quiche warmed up in the microwave with plate decoration in Paris. Apple spritzer is served in disposable plastic cups for € 2.90. The potato waffle was (just felt) also warmed up, not freshly prepared, and completely drowned in honey mustard dressing. But at least the price and the generous portion size fit. Overall, the very nice ambience doesn't help much.

Cozy and tasty cakes

Children not welcome !!! We wanted to eat waffles with our kids (2 and 7) and were really happy to have found this cozy little cafe. It was well filled but there were two small tables with seats available in the entrance area. We had already taken off our jackets and just wanted to sit down when we were told by a waitress that our buggy could not stay in the entrance area. When asked if we could put the buggy (by the way a small model) folded somewhere else, it was also made clear to us that this was not possible. At least at this point, we realized that it was not primarily about the little buggy. Children unwanted! Dear parents, look for another kid-friendly cafe. Incidentally, we found a wonderful cozy café nearby that also had some excellent waffles.

Cozy business where the owner makes everything herself. Delicious cakes, quiches, soups, chicken patties and more. Worth a visit👍

Super cute cafe, with great decor and nice staff. The cakes are delicious and the atmosphere really wonderful. Unfortunately, there is a deduction for the coffee, unfortunately it tastes like water.

An enchanted atmosphere with a touch of France 🇫🇷 - unbelievably decelerating atmosphere and a friendly service and tasty food. However, the prices are also reminiscent of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées ... But you also have a short break from everyday life

Very disappointing service as we did not get offered a vegetarian alternative instead of the Tagessupe (chicken soup) and no one came to meet us by any means. Even after three requests, if we could get the offer because without starter and with a discount, no reaction. There would have been a vegetarian soup or alternative but no one wanted to serve us.

Racism! Rassismus! They treated me and my family as second class citizens from the moment we stepped a foot into the cafe. We tried to ignore our first impressions only for them to be confirmed during service time. Sad to know that racism is still strongly manifested in Germany, especially in a public space like a cafe in the city center.

Excellent coffee, very delicious cakes. Stylishly furnished. If you sit outside, you have a nice view of the cathedral. Just right for a nice coffee break.
